Samsung Prepares to Launch World's First 5G Tablet


Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Tab S6 5G, which will be the world's first 5G tablet. Certificate applications revealed that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G in the first place is expected to be offered for sale in South Korea.

In 2019, Samsung launched several 5G devices, including the Galaxy S10, Note10, Galaxy A90, and Galaxy Fold. These devices have sold more than 2 million to date. Samsung is now preparing to launch the Galaxy Tab S6 5G which will be the world's first 5G tablet.

Galaxy club employees unveiled the SM-T866N, a previously unknown Galaxy Tab S6. The existence of the Galaxy Tab S6 5G, identified by the SM-T866N model number, has been revealed from certification applications to the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. Even if the Wi-Fi certificate revealed the presence of the device, it became clear that the tablet would be 5G with the second certificate.

There is no more information about the Galaxy Tab S6 5G at this time. However, Sammobile editors say that a tablet they've studied in the past weeks maybe this tablet. When the Galaxy Tab S6 5G will be released is not yet clear. However, the resulting certificates may indicate that an official promotional event is imminent.

There is no information that Samsung will sell the 5G tablet outside of South Korea. European and US models have not yet appeared. However, 5G tablets are expected to be available sooner or later in the European and US markets.
