What is Network Security?

What is Network Security?

With the rapid expansion of technology and the popularity of the internet increasing day by day, there is no home or workplace left by the internet. The Internet has become the sine qua non of our lives. Nowadays, the concept of network security has become even more important as things are now working on the internet.

With the attacks, the service can be blocked, data losses can occur and unimaginable material losses can occur. In the attack on the company named DynDNS in the past few days, access to many sites has been encountered. And it caused serious material loss.

You don't want your company's reliability to be reduced by your customers, do you?

Network security does not consist of a single factor. For example, using a firewall does not mean that you secure that network. In order to ensure complete security, you should combine many solutions and select the hardware and software suitable for our system. Thus, even if a solution fails, other solutions will continue to provide protection. Of course, this process should be considered as an ongoing process.

The reason for this is the continuous development of technology and the attacks on systems (networks) increase with this progress. For example, you keep your valuables and money in the safe of your home. In order to keep it safe, you take many measures such as security guard, alarm system in your home and putting a password in your safe.

You can think of network security as in this example. After all, since we use our bank accounts, credit card numbers, and private information on the internet, we have no choice but to pay attention and provide security.
