Android 11 Eliminates 4GB of Video Shooting Limit
A new report is emerging that Android 11 will offer a very important feature. This feature will help smartphones with Android operating systems to capture even larger videos of more than 4 GB. The feature is expected to be available with Android 11.
The use of smartphones is becoming more and more widespread, and with the development of smartphone technologies, users' expectations from smartphones are changing. Not much, we all know how common microSD cards are a few years ago. But today, especially phones with the Android operating systems have virtually eliminated the storage problem and reduced the need for microSD cards.
In 2019, the smartphone sector paid the most attention to cameras. Companies have used more and higher resolution cameras in their new models. Now flagship phones, in particular, have at least a triple rear camera set-up and the main rear camera of these smartphones hardly drops below 48 MP. This brings with it larger files.
Recording and recording videos on Android phones; MediaMuxer and MPEG4Writer. However, these root programs limit video recordings to 4 GB. So it is not possible to shoot a video that is even bigger than 4 GB. This is acceptable for smartphones from years ago. Because years ago, the memory of a smartphone was already 8 GB or 16 GB.
For today's smartphones, the 4GB limit is not something you should have. Because users want to shoot videos of bigger sizes from time to time. This year, we've seen clips of some songs taken using only a smartphone. Therefore, creating large video files is no longer difficult.
An emerging report shows that Android developers have pushed this issue and went to update the root software. The Google team, the root software was updated and also tested a 32GB size video was taken. This video was recorded in one piece thanks to new root software. This revolutionary new feature is expected to be available to users with Android 11.
It seems that Google has overcome a problem, especially with emerging camera sensor technologies. Of course, however, this is reported through an unverified report. Google officials should make a statement in a short period and officially announce that they have resolved this issue. Moreover, consumers already need and want to use such a feature. In other words, Android 11 should provide this feature to the users.
