Huawei P40 is coming! What about the operating system?
China-based technology maker Huawei is focusing on the P40 series, which it plans to announce next year after the Mate 30 series phones. Huawei CEO Richard Yu, in a statement about the new phone, shared the operating system P40 uses.
The countdown continues for the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, which is expected to be introduced in March 2020 and will be Huawei's newest photophone. On the other hand, the issue of the embargo with the United States on the new phone Huawei'nin wonders what operating system to use. Huawei CEO Richard Yu made a surprise statement to satisfy this curiosity. Contrary to expectations, Huawei will use the Android 10 version, not HarmonyOS, which it has developed on its new phones. More precisely the Android 10-based EMUI 10 will come out of the boxes along with the release.
With Yu's announcement, Huawei does not intend to integrate HarmonyOS with their phones in the near future.
The Huawei P40 will be the successor to the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, released earlier this year. The P40 series, which is expected to support Huawei Mobile Services, will be available without Google Play services. The Chinese technology giant has developed Huawei Mobile Services, which includes its own applications and services to reduce its dependence on Google.
