Software update for 2nd generation AirPods and AirPods Pro released

Apple has released a software update for full wireless headphones 2nd generation AirPods and AirPods Pro. It is not known what kind of defeats or bug fixes the new update brings to the headphones.

AirPods Pro already had the 2B588 software version, while the 2nd generation AirPods used the 2A364 software version. However, with the new update, the software version of both headphones has changed to 2C54.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to manually update AirPods. Headphones are automatically updated over Wi-Fi when connected to an iOS device. Simply place the AirPods in the charging case and charge the cover with the cover open near your iPhone or iPad.

After opening the AirPods charging case cover near your iPhone or iPad, follow the steps below to access the updated software information for your AirPods.

To find out the current version of AirPods:

Open the Settings application.
In the window that opens, click the General tab.
Then touch About.
Then select the part of your AirPods.
You can find the software version, model number, hardware version and a serial number of your AirPods from the page that opens.
